The taste is good and the waitress is kind. Only the music is too loud and noisy. Students enjoy 10% off with student ID.

This is such a great little spot. There is community style seating and it isn’t super spacious so I wouldn’t recommend for large groups. But the menu has many wonderful options both vegetarian and non, and the prices and portions make sense. Staff is friendly and the taste is so authentic and delicious

I have to say you can not miss this spot! This is actually my favorite lunch place since I moved to NYC area. Tasty food, reasonable portion and price, close to Union square, and they have vegetarian options. What else you can expect. I have visited this place multiple times for the cauliflower and the eggplant pita/plate! If you have a small appetite, then pita would a great option, otherwise the plate version may make you too full

First time ordering the Togo option, which is a bit of a rip off. I love going to taboonette and getting the food, but this sandwich has less filling than when you get the sit down sandwich, and does not come with chips. So it’s a $17 half-assed sandwich, which is too bad. Half way through the sandwich and I’ve still only eaten bread and cucumber. I’m so disappointed. Ordered the eggplant

We stopped here for a quick Sunday brunch. Food was great, tasty, and spot on. Cost for 2 meals were relatively expensive but doable. I would recommend getting here at a decent time because the space is very limited and lacks private seating. Restaurant did not offer a baby chair, but lucky our young child wasn't hungry. Staff was friendly and the food served to us came out pretty fast. For 2 people, prepare to pay about $40.00. Overall, we enjoyed our time, food was delicious.

Delicious "slow food fast" spot. The pulled pork with yellow rice is incredibly stuffy, tender and flavorful. Feels clean and healthy too. Staff was friendly and nice. Good value. Solid spot all around

Came in for the shakshuka since other places were too busy. Their attempt at shakshuka is a more accurate description. Instead of eggs cooked in matbiucha (=traditional tomato stew) I received friend eggs served on a bed of tomato pizza/ pasta sauce. That is not a shakshuka. Chat gpt could have told them that.
